Dr Mpho Sepato is a registered Clinical Psychologist with HPCSA (and other professional bodies) since 2002. She has obtained MSc in Clinical Psychology from Medunsa (University of Limpopo) in 2002 and a PhD in Community Psychology through the University of Zululand in 2011. She did her undergraduate studies with the University of Pretoria. Her certificate in Human Resource Management was obtained in 2007 through UNISA. Her field of interest and experience is in promoting psychological health of individuals, couples, families, groups and organisations.

Over and above, she does psychotherapeutic work, employee health and wellness related programmes and neuro-psychological assessments for medico-legal cases for law firms of any type and scale (i.e. third-party claim). She has also been involved in consulting work and has extensive experience in training, facilitation and presentation. Besides being a practitioner, she has consulted and provided interventions to a variety of organizations.

Her empowerment intervention approach is based on the holistic view of human existence (mind, body and spirit) and a multidisciplinary team approach in dealing with her clients. She has since expanded her interest and skills in life coaching and mentoring. Her service entails intense mental-health interventions such as conducting group camps (on or off site) to facilitate psychological healing, empowerment and coaching. In her 23 years of experience, she has developed a model called DRRAT (Detox, Reconstruct, Renew, Actualize, and Thrive) which also forms the basis of her services)
